I'm not sure what I think of this yet. But I hope it turns out really well.

Kate Jablonski

Kate Jablonski is a 22yr old college student who is an awesome choreographer. I found her by facebook stalking Kate Kromann.

The best part is the drop around minute 2.

I like that they don't have the guy do the lifts. I also like Imogen Heap.

"I need Africa more than Africa needs me"

I like this different take on things.

Mocha Club

Also the song in the video is called Shovel by Katie Herzig

"Thanks for improving my driving experience"

Courtesy Wave
definition: "After signaling, being given room to change, and changing lanes, a driver should wave, indicating 'thanks' for the room given."

St. Louisians have not proven to be very good at the courtesy wave.

An article outlining the importance of this small gesture...

"Blame It" video

Jamie Foxx put lots of (random) celebrities in his music video and probably should have shown them more than he did.

I know Ron Howard is a big deal but he's a pretty surprising choice for this music video.

FEMALES OF THE WORLD, LISTEN UP!

Who made you think we all wanted to see a clear outline of all the areas you're supposed to cover up? If you're unsure what this unsettling trend looks like refer to http://leggingsarenotpants.wordpress.com/

Can you see the words?

And then I...

Things I did in the past two days that were a bit out of the ordinary...
-Saw a burlesque show
-Caught a pass in a football game (thus proving myself worthy of playing)
-Watched a tribal drum group composed of almost all older white men
-Saw a really good rock/blues group in a little random bar
-Had a bellydancer balancing swords on her head a few feet away from me
-Got these sweet shoes even though I'm not supposed to be spending money on things like shoes. But they were on sale by a lot.

ouch

I think Sigur Ros just literally made my heart hurt. Go get their new album and then listen to Festival. Tell me how it feels.

Kanye you look dumb.

Why in the world is Kanye West growing a tiny mullet? You know he thinks he's better than you because of it too.

Am I the last to know this?

Zooey Deschanel Engaged To Death Cab For Cutie's Ben Gibbard

From MTV.com

Perhaps we should call them the First Couple of Indie Rock.

Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard and actress/ She & Him singer Zooey Deschanel are engaged, sources confirmed to MTV News on Monday (December 29).

The confirmation comes hours after many celebrity gossip sites had incorrectly reported that Deschanel was engaged to a different musician: AFI bassist Hunter Burgan. (Head over to the Newsroom blog to find out what Burgan had to say about Deschanel's engagement.) According to a "source close to the couple," cited by Us Weekly, Deschanel, 28, and Gibbard, 32, are "so thrilled. ... Zooey was swept off her feet, and Ben is so excited."

I want the kids I work with to see this.
