The character of May Boatwright is known for feeling everyone elses sorrows so deeply that most sadness wrecks her. When things are good she is happy-go-lucky; she is not a depressed or meloncholy character at all. May has an outstanding capacity for empathy. This characteristic isn't shown in the film as a weakness. It's implied that she is almost stronger than everyone else because she is able to feel so deeply and care so fiercely for others. I hope I am more like her than not.

Ian Axel - This is the New Year
Originally I had this video posted as a New Year's song. But really it was quiet sad...unlike this fantastic, happy, joyous video (which I only discovered because a friend posted it on facebook)!!! Don't you just want to be friends with these people and have dinner parties together. Ian Axel's album will be out on Itunes on January 5th.
